Teacher Assistant

Full Time / Part Time
Description

We are looking for a teacher assistant to join our team of professional educators. Teachers will be helping the primary teacher in the classroom and provide high-quality care to students of all age groups in our programs. TA is responsible for supervising children and collaborating with fellow team members in the design and implementation of day-to-day activities.

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our teachers as safe as possible during COVID-19, we are issuing masks for teachers, providing hand sanitizer, gloves, and cleaning our facilities every day.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help execute child development programs

  • Work closely with other teachers in the classroom to provide a safe environment for our children

  • Participate in a monthly staff meetings after school hours

Required Qualifications

  • Patient and reliable

  • Excellent communicator with children, staff, and parents

  • Can work collaboratively with others

  • Caring and compassionate attitude

  • CORI, SORI and DCF background 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years previous child care experience

  • CPR and First Aid certifications
